The Hoxton Hotel, Paris

Hello, I am a travel writer, photographer, and personal trip planner!

I spent my twenties working as an assistant and saving money for travels — most notably an around-the-world trip to Southeast Asia, Australia, and Europe, where I started blogging — before realizing a career might come from it.

So, at the age of 30, I moved to London to receive a master’s in international journalism. This sparked a five-year dream job reviewing and photographing hotels on four continents for Oyster.com, during which I planned all kinds of trips for members of Jetsetter.com. Since then, my travel articles have appeared in Travel + Leisure, Travel + Leisure India, Food & Wine, Culture Trip, MSN, MSN Canada, The London TimesIslands, Bradt Guides, ABC News and Business Insider. In addition, I spent two years writing itineraries across the globe from Patagonia to Tibet for a travel company called Kimkim. I’ve also helped open a hotel in Brooklyn and a restaurant in Chicago, allowing me to learn more about food, wine, and hospitality.

Today, I travel most of the year with my husband while writing and designing custom itineraries for my clients. Let’s discuss your next trip!
